Choose your Adventure! Glade Run Adventures empowers individuals through experiences in nature. Tailored to individual goals, participants of all ages can enjoy and benefit from these unique interactive experiences with plants, animals and the natural environment.

ADVENTURES SUMMER CAMPS

 

 

 

 

 

2026 Camp Dates: June 15-26, 2026 & July 27- August 7, 2026

Cost: $1,600 per two week session

Specialized Adventures is a social skills development camp for individuals ages 8 – 18. Each two-week session runs Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Any child in need of social skill development is welcome, however, the camp is specially designed for children with moderate to high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorders. This is not an ESY Camp but may be covered for some school districts as ESY. For a 2026 complete camp brochure CLICK HERE. Camp applications will be open 1/15 using this link. Please note: unless your camp session is being paid for by your school district, camp applications will not be complete until the $100 deposit is paid.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2026 Camp Dates: July 6-10, 2026; July 13-17, 2026; July 20th-24, 2026

Cost: $460 per week; discounted rate of $1,155 for those participating in all three weeks

Independent Rider Camps are designed for riders who can independently steer and control their horses at the walk and trot in a group setting. Each weekly session runs from 12:30 – 4:30 p.m. Campers will ride 1 hour per day and spend another hour doing ground work with the horses. Remaining time will be spent learning about other horse related topics (confirmation/horse parts, nutrition, lameness and first aid, competitive disciplines, working with horses) as well as caring for their horse. ADVENTURES EVENTS & WORKSHOPS

Adventures Events and Workshops
Practice established techniques to reduce stress, re-energize, engage your senses, and connect with the natural world around you. Workshops may include a wide variety of experiences, depending on group interest, including partnering with our therapy horses, horticultural activities, stargazing, art,  yoga and more!

ADVENTURES THERAPEUTIC LESSONS

Adventures Therapeutic Lessons may include aspects of a variety of services available through Adventures. Participants may engage in therapeutic horseback riding, equine assisted learning, environmental education and horticultural activities. All services are tailored to the needs and interests of participants. Individual and group lessons are offered through the school year in eight- or 12-week sessions from late August through late May. There is a 180 lb. weight limit for all mounted activities. Unmounted activities are also available. 

Equine Assisted Learning
Enjoy exploring activities with our equine partners: trail rides, obstacle courses, cart driving, in-hand challenges and horsemanship skills. Lessons are led by enthusiastic educators with extensive equine experience.

Session 1: August 19 – November 6 (12 weeks)
Session 2: January 6 – February 26 (8 weeks)
Session 3: March 9 – May 28 (12 weeks)

12 Week Sessions Pricing

Private Lessons – $600 for 30 minutes
Group Lessons – (3-4 participants) – $825/each for 60 minutes

Nature Based Learning
The garden, greenhouse, forest, fields and creek of Glade Run offer endless opportunities for learning for a wide range of ages, abilities, interests and goals. Nature based learning builds gross and fine motor skills, awareness of surroundings and risk and reward assessment, responsibility and follow-through, competence, confidence, connection with nature, well-being and more! Topics and focus will depend on the student/parents and their interests and goals. Less screen time, more outside time! Instructor Holly Schubert has a masters degree in Environmental Education and decades of outdoor and teaching experience in a variety of settings.

Bring your groups to have an empowering experience!

Lunch & Learn
FREE and open to leadership staff of organizations interested in partnering with Adventures for regularly scheduled group experiences. Lunch & Learns provide a taste of what your group will receive.

Equine Assisted Off-Site Retreats
This program focuses on strengthening team interactions. Identify ways to improve communication, problem solve, strengthen individual relationships and experience renewed energy.

Morning or Afternoon Session – $500 (up to 10 participants)

ADVENTURES COUNSELING

Improve your mental health through engaging in therapy that focuses not just on your thoughts, but your experiences.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
Partner with horses, a trained mental health clinician and an equine specialist to experience change. Additional fees required for mounted work.

Experiential Therapy
Partner with the natural world to reduce anxiety, depression and improve many more mental health challenges. Sessions are held in woodlands, trails, greenhouse, gardens or in animal pastures depending on client interest.

Trauma Therapy
Put the past in the past and prepare for a better future through trauma treatment at Adventures.

 

Evidence based treatment modalities are utilized by trained clinicians to support participants in reaching their goals. Counseling services may be covered by your insurance. Individual and group counseling available. For more information or to schedule, contact us.

EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

Glade Run Adventures proudly supports hands on STEM education for St. Stephen’s Academy, Glade Run’s licensed private K-12 school. For more information about St. Stephen’s, please visit the school page HERE.

Students have the opportunity to learn and grow at Glade Run Adventures with daily classes held in the greenhouse, barn, and outdoor gardens and classrooms.
