The Summer Enrichment Program serves children 12 to 18 years old.  All participants are assigned a Primary Staff who conducts the initial assessment and establish program goals and objectives for the participant.  The Primary Staff is responsible to be the contact with the family, probation, and other systems involved with the participant and serves as the participants’ consistent advocate, support worker, and mentor.

The program starts immediately after the school year ends and runs until the day before the new school year starts, Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 2:00 pm.  Each day of the Summer Enrichment Program is scheduled with activities to increase moral reasoning, enhance responsible thinking, learn about healthy choices, improve peer relationships, and exercise self-control.  Mentors teach these lessons through discussion, planned exercises, and fun activities.  Each Friday participants have the opportunity to earn a community outing.  This community outing visits places that the children would not have the opportunity to visit if not for the Summer Enrichment Program.

Transportation to and from the program is provided by Glade Run.  Participants that live close to the facility will be encouraged to walk to the facility.  All transportation to Friday Community Field Trips is provided by Glade Run.
