“There are no little things with God. What men call little, He uses to shape the purposes and lives of men and nations.”
Linking Faith and Service
At Glade Run Lutheran Services, all those entrusted to our care are received in Christ’s name. As firm believers that healing comes from within, we seek to integrate spirituality into the care we provide. We welcome all wherever they are in their faith journey.
Glade Run’s mission- Linking Faith and Service– embodies our dedication to provide quality trauma-informed care to children and families in their own communities. The Bridge Project coordinates with congregations and communities to join families and individuals to resources and natural supports in their own community settings to build upon their personal strengths and reach goals for their desired quality of life.
The Good Neighbor Fund is also another way we help families in our community. It is a well recognized fact that poverty has important implications for both physical and mental health. Many of the families we serve live at or below the poverty level and lack the basic necessities most of us take for granted. Donations of household appliances, cleaning supplies, toiletries, bed & bath, and kitchen items are accepted (new or used). We want provide the basic household needs for young adults or families starting out. Donations can be dropped off at Glade Run Foundation in Zelienople.
Spiritual Care Services
The spiritual care program is non- sectarian. We offer individual pastoral relationships and connects families and individuals to Pastoral Support in their own community. Our spiritual care staff is experienced in guiding children, families and individuals to know God’s love and grace and to experience His compassion in a meaningful personal way.
