Foster Care Each child entering the program undergoes an initial assessment process to determine the extent of mental health, support and social services required to facilitate the achievement of reunification. Services required may include psychiatric and/or psychological testing; individual, group and/or family therapy; in-home support; crisis intervention; 24-hour on-call emergency services; or respite care. The child and birth family are encouraged to participate as full members of the treatment team and assist in the decision-making process whenever possible. The treatment team is led by a Glade Run Lutheran Services foster care/wraparound case manager. Case managers also monitor the quality and efficacy of the services provided to the child and foster family. Considering becoming a foster parent?
