Counselors listen to the family and encourage involvement since the commitment to helping individual family members is central to our mission. After observing and learning about the family’s culture, the treatment team develops a partnership with the family.
This partnership builds upon natural supports in the community such as neighbors, relatives, teachers, coaches and churches. Successful outcomes come from teaching, modeling and feedback to families through real life situations.
Treatment truly wraps support around the individual and family as the team works with all of the significant people in their life. Therapy is provided in the family’s home and community to strengthen relationships and problem-solving skills. This support is offered for children and individuals up to age 21 who have behavioral needs or an autism spectrum disorder.
