Level 2

Description:  These volunteers consist of groups or individuals who work directly with the clients on campus under the supervision and direction of Glade Run Lutheran Services staff.  The staff are present during the activities.  Groups sharing their skills and hobbies with the children fall under this category.

Training and Support:  The Community Relations Coordinator will give an orientation of Glade Run Lutheran Services.

Reporting:  Volunteers will report to the Community Relations Coordinator to be assigned their duties, and report to the staff assigned to their project.  Regular visiting groups complete Time Sheets and turn them in to the Volunteer Coordinator.  They will always report concerns and/or suggestions to the Volunteer Coordinator.

Time Commitment:  Group volunteering may be a one time activity, on an annual basis or regularly scheduled throughout the year.

Qualifications:  Adult Volunteers must be 18 years of age.  There must be one adult present for every 1-6 volunteers under the age of 18.  The forms that need to be completed include the Acknowledgement of Understanding this Volunteer Guide, Confidentially Statement, and HIPAA Privacy form.
