Family Partnership Information
If you ever feel hopeless, alone or in the dark, let the light of Glade Run Family Partnership Support guide your journey. We recognize that parenting a child with a behavioral health diagnosis is a sometimes overwhelming and isolating emotional experience.
Glade Run Lutheran Services partners with the families we serve to achieve success for our children at home and within our communities. Glade Run Family Partnership Support serves as a link, support and resource for caregivers and family members. Families are encouraged to have a voice and to share their expertise as well as their struggles.
The Family Partnership Support team includes families of current and former individuals served and Glade Run staff who are parents of special needs children. We have each experienced the confusing and all too often painful process of finding the right supports and navigating through the system, while also maintaining our own family dynamic. This partnership allows us to use our experiences to better engage and support the families served by Glade Run through advocacy, mentoring and sharing of resources- wherever we are in our journey.
