Glade Run’s 15th Annual Spring Symposium

I wanted to personally invite each of you to our 15th Annual Spring Symposium on Saturday March 15th. This year’s event will take place on Glade Run’s Zelienople campus from 8:30 am till 3:30 pm.

This year’s event is titled: Seeds, Bees and Knees and we are so excited to have Matthew Goldfarb and Petra Page-Mann from Fruition Seeds, Christina Neumann from Apoidea Apiary and Ann Adams and Liz Brensinger from Green Heron Tools as our speakers! They will be presenting how to save regionally adapted seed, create natural habitats for native bee species and sensible ways for us to protect our gardening bodies.

We will also be bringing back the Celebrity Waiter Competition during lunch with our favorite area farmers. And we are also inviting our farmers and speakers to share with you what their favorite tools are during our Q & A session.

This year is sure to be a wonderful time full of good food, inspiring speakers, old friends and new resources to help us all be better gardeners not just for today but also for tomorrow.

Call Cheryl Martin in Foundation for more information and to purchase tickets at 724-452-4453 ext. 1277

Be sure to check out and “share” our event on Facebook!

I hope to see you all there,

Danielle Marvit,

Therapeutic Agriculture Program Specialist
